With the rapid development of the global "Beauty Economy," the international competitiveness of China's cosmetics industry has become a focal point of academic and industrial concern. This study focuses on the South Korean market—a traditional cosmetics powerhouse—to analyze the export performance of Chinese beauty products from 2013 to 2024. By utilizing trade indices such as TC, RCA, and CA, the research evaluates China’s comparative advantages and identifies existing gaps in brand premium and technical innovation. The findings suggest that while Chinese cosmetics have made significant breakthroughs via cross-border e-commerce and cultural "C-Beauty" trends, systematic improvements in brand value and localized marketing are essential. This paper proposes a series of strategies, including R&D investment and digital transformation, to further enhance China's competitive position in South Korea.
