Contemporary documentary production faces transformative challenges in narrative approaches. This paper examines the operational mechanisms of micro-narrative techniques in emotional shaping. Research reveals that micro-narratives construct emotional experiences through three pathways: individual focus, detailed depiction, and thematic elevation, thereby concretizing abstract themes. This narrative strategy effectively lowers audience empathy thresholds while achieving a leap from individual emotions to universal values. The article also explores the limitations of micro-narratives in emotional shaping and proposes corresponding creative strategies, offering new dimensions for reflection in documentary narrative theory research.
