Abstract

This paper aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the supply-demand alignment in vocational skills training for the construction sector. Research findings reveal imbalances in skill requirements, time availability, and geographical distribution, attributable to inadequate information communication, outdated training content, and insufficient policy support. Corresponding recommendations include enhancing information exchange, optimizing training programs, and strengthening policy frameworks. The study identifies three primary causes of these disparities: ineffective information flow, delayed curriculum updates, and insufficient governmental backing. To address these issues, the paper proposes concrete measures, including improved communication channels, updated training curricula, and enhanced policy incentives—to improve the alignment between training demands and supply, thereby providing actionable insights for talent development in the construction industry.
