Abstract

Industry-education integration is a core path for enterprises to achieve high-quality development in digital transformation, driven by multiple factors including economy, strategy and policy. However, the superposition of accelerated technological iteration, uncertain technological routes, the impact of the gig economy and short-termism in the capital market is systematically eroding enterprises’ long-term patience in school-enterprise co-construction, leading to a "patience dilemma" characterized by weakened willingness to cooperate, superficial participation and insufficient sustainability. The solution lies in establishing a risk buffer mechanism across technological cycles, correcting the cost externality of the gig economy, and activating the asset attribute of educational contributions. This will promote industry-education integration from formal cooperation to substantive symbiosis, and realize two-way empowerment and value co-creation between enterprises and education amid the tension between speed and stability.
