Abstract

Individual education and holistic education, as core components of the educational system, are not mutually exclusive but rather an interdependent and dialectically unified organic whole. Individual education emphasizes respecting students' differences and subjectivity, aiming to achieve personalized development, while holistic education focuses on educational equity and systematic approaches to promote collective competency enhancement. Starting with an analysis of the connotations of individual and holistic education, this paper explores their dialectical relationship, examines imbalances in current educational practices, and proposes collaborative development strategies tailored to different educational stages. The findings aim to provide theoretical references and practical insights for building a modern education system that balances individualization and holistic development.
