Abstract

This paper uses video observation, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods to analyse and compare the technical indicators in the offensive ability of the guards of the four strongest teams in the 28th Men's Bas-ketball Asian Championships, and the study shows that: Japan's guards are high-ly efficient in scoring, and their shooting styles are flexible and changeable; the Philippines' guards are diverse in their offensive means, and they are strong in breakthroughs and long-distance shooting; the Iranian guards are experienced, and they specialise in scoring in the close range; China's guards are strong in breakthrough ability and outstanding performance in dribble breakthrough technique.
